U.S. M1903 Springfield Rifle and M1905 Bayonet
The rifle's receiver is numbered "983816" manufactured by Springfield in 1918.  The rifle had been refurbiished for WWII and has a Springfield Armory barrel dated "1942".
The bayonet is dated "1917", numbered "275484" and is manufactured by Rock Island Arsenal.  The scabbard is an M3 fiberglass variant manufactured in WWII.
These two pieces are part of my collection for the reason of pure vanity.  This is the weapon both of my grandfathers used during their military service (WWI - US Army & Haiti - USMC)
